Abbeycentre is located on Longwood Road, Newtownabbey. For commuters travelling from Belfast or further afield, Abbeycentre can be easily reached by following the M2 out of Belfast onto the Shore Road where the shopping centre is then clearly signposted. Likewise, the return trip to Belfast is again a simple journey on the M5 which commuters can join only a few minutes away from the Centre.

The centre is well served by public transport coming to/from all parts of the borough and from Belfast city centre and bus stops are conveniently located all around the complex.

Many taxi firms also use the Centre and taxi pick-up/drop off points are located at each entrance.

In addition, an Easibus service also calls at the Centre for the convenience of those customers living within the local catchment area.
