Welcome Back!

Welcome Back

We are delighted to announce that in line with the NI Government Guidelines, Abbey Centre is now open.

All mall entry points are now accessible.

On behalf of the Abbey Centre team, we wish to offer a heartfelt thank you for your continued support.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Abbey Centre, where you can enjoy a safe shopping experience.

Our New Shopping Experience

Some of our new health and safety measures include:

Encouraging social distancing with signage throughout the centre – Please adhere to social distancing by maintaining 2m apart.

One way system – Please walk on the left within the mall and on the stairs.

Providing sanitising stations throughout the mall for your safety and hygiene*.

Compulsory face covering.

Limiting the use of lift facilities to two people at a time or one household.

Increased support from helpful team members.

Increased mall cleansing and sanitation.

In line with the latest government guidelines it is now compulsory for all customers to wear a face covering or mask when you visit shops and supermarkets. Face coverings should cover both the mouth and nose.

Face coverings should not give a false sense of security though. It is essential everyone continues to practice social distancing and wash their hands regularly.

It is important that we all respect one another and remember that the reasons for not wearing a face covering may not always be visible. Face-coverings are not compulsory for shopkeepers, staff and assistants. Children under the age of 13 are also exempt. More information can be found here.

Customer Services

All public toilets are now accessible including those leading to Car Park C Level 1 and located upstairs from Car Park B. Please note that the Centre will not be providing mobility aids or mall seating during this period.

Ticketmaster News – Refunds for tickets purchased at the Ticketmaster outlet in Abbey Centre can be obtained via the following link – www.ticketmaster.ie/outletrefund

Retailer News

For the time being, individual stores will manage their own trading hours, phased entry process and socially distanced in-store experience. Most retailers are limiting the handling of products and encouraging contactless payments where possible. The fitting room experience has also been modified.

Temporary retailer trading hours can be found here.

Food Court

Our Food Court is now open for both ‘Take Away’ and ‘Order + Sit In to Dine.’

Food Court operators will manage their own trading hours and phased order process. Most Food Court retailers encourage contactless payments where possible.

Socially distanced seating will be available on a first come, first served basis. We also have elevated hygiene practices, essential to reassure our customers and employees that we are as Covid-19 safe as possible.

We encourage you to use our hand sanitiser station before entering and upon leaving the Food Court.

Once you have finished your meal, please dispose of your waste in the nearest bin provided and place your empty tray stacked on top of the bin for sanitising.

Enjoy your meal!
