Dirty Dancing Cinema Spectacular
– in aid of NI Children’s Hospice –
Abbey Centre and Movie House Cinemas Glengormley teamed up to host a ‘Dirty Dancing Cinema Spectacular’ with all proceeds benefitting NI Children’s Hospice.
The event, Thursday 21st June, at Movie House Cinemas Glengormley, raised a grand total of £2,525 for the children’s hospice.
Ladies and gents snapped up tickets for the VIP cinema spectacular, featuring Box Fizz prosecco and strawberries, Catherine’s Vodka infused Watermelon, entertainment with Belfast 89FM, goodie bags packed by Abbey Centre retailers, Golden Popcorn and a special performance by St. Bernard’s PS PTA dancers Terry and Fiona.
The sound of the 60s was complimented by themed decor and a fragrance station by The Perfume Shop, Abbey Centre.
Clare Beswick, Abbey Centre Marketing Manager said,
‘The event was a roaring success and showed off the new VIP cinema experience at Movie House Glengormley to perfection. 118 ladies and 2 gents relished the opportunity to relive the Summer of 1963 and donate to a fantastic cause at the same time.’
Catherine O’Hara, NI Hospice Regional Fundraiser said,
‘Our guests truly had the time of their lives, joining Baby and Johnny in the ultimate Summer romance. NI Children’s Hospice really appreciate the support from everyone involved in making this event a huge success. We care deeply for our children and we are so touched to know that you do too.’
